Dive and Travel Insurance

Dive Insurance is a necessary piece of diving equipment that each diver should never dive without. Many US insurance companies will NOT cover you outside of the US. Dive insurance will cover an accident while diving (think hyperbaric chamber) small accidents (think fire coral or jellyfish). Some may cover non diving accidents and injuries depending upon the policy you choose. Each policy varies, so it is upon the diver to do the research and find the policy that meets their needs better. Wh

Travel Insurance is HIGHLY recommended as it can cover illness that may not be covered by your Dive Insurance. Medically speaking, it is a great supplement. Other items it may cover are a cancelled trip due to reasons beyond your control, delays or lost luggage, emergency evacuation, trip interruption, damaged locations, and other travel related inconviences. Both DAN and DIve Assure have travel insurance.
