Details of our scuba classes are as follows.
Once you receive your training materials you will watch a video in conjunction with reading the
book. Each module of the book as a knowledge review for you to complete. You will be
expected to have all 5 knowledge reviews completed before we meet for the first day of training.
Plan on a minimum of 8 hours to complete your book work.
You will need to complete Release forms and a medical statement prior to any in water training.
If you have to answer "yes" to ANY question on the form we will need a medical release signed
by a physician. Medical questionnaire available for download at the bottom of this page.
We will review each module one at a time and you will be given a 10 question quiz to check
your understanding after each module review. Once we have completed reviewing the 5 modules
you will be given a 50 question final exam.
Now is time to get wet!
We start with a watermanship assessment which consist of swimming a few laps in the pool and
then a water tread or float
We will then start learning how to assemble our scuba gear and get started teaching you a few
necessary skills in the swimming pool. This is usually done in one or two sessions.
Once you have learned all the skills in the pool and are ready for your open water check out
We will spend one weekend, 2 days, at one of our area lake or some other pre-arranged
destination. You will complete 4 dives demonstrating the skills you have learned.
when the 4 open water dives are complete you will receive your PADI Open Water
Diver Certification. PADI Is the world leader in diver education. Your certification will be
recognized anywhere in the world. Scuba training with us is safe and fun! Now lets go scuba diving together!
